SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY XBOX 360 PROBLEM?

I'M DECIDING TO SEND MY XBOX 360 BACKTO MICROSOFT FOR REPAIR. UT I HAVE TO PAY $99 FOR IT CUS MY WARRANTY EXPIRED. IF YOU KNOW THE BACK OF THE 360 HAS LITTLE TINY SLITS. I'VE TRIED TO BUDGE IT OPEN ONE TIME TO CLEAR ALOT OF DUST THAT I NOTICED.

NO LUCK SO IT STILL STAYED CLOSED.

SIDES WHERE THE AREA IS GREY I'VE TAKEN OUT TO CLEAN SOME DUST THOUGH. MICROSOFT TOLD ME THAT IF ITS TAMPERED THEY WILL NOT REPAIR CUS ITS VOIDING THE WARRANTY. I'VE DONE NOTHING DEEP INSIDE THE 360 WHERE THE CHIPS ARE AND STUFF. IN FACT I'VE NEVER EVEN TOUCHED IT. DO U THINK ITS NOT VOIDING THE CONTRACT.

ANSWER ASAP!! THNX

If your warranty is expired then why should it matter if your warranty is voided if your are paying them to fix it then they are going to fix it anyway the reason it matter when it is under warranty is because they don't wont to pay for anything that you caused to happen but if your not under warranty then they don't care your paying for it not them. If i was you i would just by a new 360 The new 60GB xbox 360 models are out they only cost $199.99 only $100 more then what your are paying to get your old one fixed and if you get a new one then you wont have to worry about it because it will be under warranty.
