PS3 HDMI Cable question?

Hi everyone. Ok I am getting a HDTV that is 720p for my room, my question is if I get hdmi cables that states its good for 1080i would they give me good picture for my 720? I guess what I am trying to get at is will it give me good hd picture or do i need cables that are strictly for 720? I am looking at the hdmi cables from nyko on amazon.com and it says: “Take full advantage of the high definition revolution with Nyko's HDMI cable.

   First of all, HDMI cables are digitals.

   not analogue like the component cables. So ANY HDMI cables will look exactly the same!. Yes that's right, exactly the same, no quality difference. I'm guessing that the HDMI cable you're looking at is over $60.00. That's just their gimmick, they put titanium gold or whatever in HDMI cables, but its no good.

   just their gimmick to let you think that those cables are the best and you should buy it.

   I tell you now, DO NOT GET THOSE EXPENSIVE CABLES.

   it should be fairly cheap ) Your TV is HD ready.

   720p, not all of the HDMI cables carry 1080p.

   you don't need the cables that carries 1080p because the native resolution of your TV is 720p.

   HDMI cables carry 720p. Because the standard High Defintion resolution is 720p.

   HDMI means High Definition Multimedia Interface. So the answer to your question is YES, it will give you 720p resolution.

   to see the leap of the quality from your Standard Definition TV to your High Defintion TV, I recommend you buying or renting a Blu-ray movie, you will see what they call, High Definition. Goodluck! And remember, don't buy those expensive cables because HDMI cables are digitals.
