How can i make my boyfriend stop playing video games!! Please Help!!

ok, i love my boyfriend with all my heart, but he is OBSESSED with video games! everytime i call him, hes playing, when i go over his house, he's playing. in school he's falling asleep cuz he only gets llike 3 hours of sleep everyday. on the weekends he doesnt sometimes sleep till the next day. i dont know how he manages to still get straight A's in school with that routine.

i try calling him i sometimes have to shout so he can listen to me.

i disconnected the playstation while he was playing so he can pay attention and he got very VERY angry to the point that i felt scared of him.

can i do to change this, i love him and he can be a real sweetheart to me but his damn playstation 3, xbox 360, and nintendo wii are killing me.

to mention hes always broke cuz hes always buying games and accessories for the systems.

can i do? what can i do to end this obsession of his? i forgot to mention he's 18 and im 17

Well first off, you have to realize that you can't 'make' him stop playing.

also need to face the reality that he is choosing his gaming over even a simple phone call with you. as well, if you felt scared by his anger that is telling you something right there. I think you already know what you need to do. (and yes, he is clearly addicted.

that be his parent's problem.. not yours)
