Hello everyone! My problem is this: When I go on xbox live (Halo 3) I turn on my mic just like I should. It shows that I'm talking when I talk into the mic, but NO ONE responds! Is it just people not talking, or is it my headphones?! Thank you! (Headphones are the ones that come with the Pro model) PS. I got my 360 today, so beare with me! Related posts:

Yeah I understand, its a pain in the butt.
could be a couple of problems, but first try seeing if the volume is on.
thing I would try is look at the screen, and see if the other persons's mic is flickering/working. Even though you might not hear it, you should still see a little flickering mic symbol next to their gamertag. Another option to try is unplugging your mic and then plugging it back in, sometimes this will help with static/hearing issues. Although these could be the problem/problems, I have have over 5 Xbox mics that have broken, sometimes they are just faulty/crappy. I you have tried all of this and it still doesn't work, I suggest calling Microsoft or contacting them via email Try using www.xbox.com Good Luck and I hope this helped.
